1.     If you want to have multiple people working on one set of data, create a 'common' database folder on a network share
e.g  H:\Data\cc-Modeler (with full access from the PC's you want sharing), containing the database file you want to share
(i.e. a valid cc-Modeler .db3 file, typically copied from the default database).

Then just use the 'Data' - 'Select database' menu in cc-Modeler Pro to use that database.

2.    You can also have a second user accessing the default database of a user on a different PC. In this case, set up the folder
as shared, then the second user simply needs to 'Select database' and browse to the cc-Modeler database folder on the other PC.

important

The default cc-Modeler data folder is ProgramData\cc-Modeler and this is automatically created with full access for all users.

However if you are creating a different shared folder on a network drive, you need to ensure that it has full access (read, write,
modify) for all users who will be accessing it. Involve your desktop support people if you don't know how to set this up or don't have
privileges to do it yourself. You need -

By default, Windows 7 does not allow modification of data by other users and, unless you have set up the access correctly,  may
transparently create a 'virtualized' copy of the database for each user i.e. it automatically makes a separate database for each
user but does not give you any sort of warning message! This will not be obvious and the only symptom will be that a different user
does not see the updates you have made. Beware!
